This policy explains what VidPackit does — and does not do — with your data. It applies to every visit to vidpackit.com.

VidPackit is a free set of video tools that run entirely in your browser. Because the tools work on your device, the files you process are private by default. The only data we receive is the anonymous usage statistics described below.

All compression and conversion happens inside your browser. The File API reads the file, WebCodecs decodes and re-encodes it, and everything lives in memory while the page is open. Your files never touch a server, are never stored anywhere, and are gone when you close the page.

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics: which pages are visited, your approximate region (derived from your IP address), your browser and device type, and how you arrived here. This data is collected through cookies. It never includes the contents of your files.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which serves the pages through its global CDN. The site measures traffic with Google Analytics. Each of them processes some data for its own role; their privacy policies, published on their own websites, explain exactly what.

There are no accounts and no sign-up. We do not store your files, we do not sell data, and we cannot see what is inside your videos — not even us.

Your files are kept for exactly zero seconds: they exist only in your browser's memory and disappear when you close the page. Analytics data is retained according to Google's policies.

You can block analytics cookies through your browser settings. To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, search for the "Google Analytics opt-out" browser add-on — once installed, it stops your visits from being measured.
