Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No. Both modes process the image entirely in your browser. The AI model file is downloaded to your device, but your image never leaves it.
When should I use quick mode instead of AI?
Quick mode shines on plain, even backgrounds — white product shots, logos, screenshots. Click a background color, drag the tolerance slider until the subject is clean, and you are done in seconds. AI mode is the better choice for busy, real-world scenes.
Why does AI mode need to download a model?
The segmentation network that finds your subject is about 40 MB. Your browser fetches it once from a content delivery network and caches it, so later removals start instantly and even work offline.

Privacy and security
